As associate vice president for Enterprise Applications for Penn State IT, Jen Stedelin collaborates with other IT leaders to help achieve a shared vision for IT, provides leadership in the development and support of 21st-century business systems and practices, works to ensure that the enterprise systems support the strategic mission of the University across teaching and research, and works closely with University stakeholders to understand how to best meet the needs of business units across the institution.
Stedelin previously served Penn State as senior director for Strategic Operations, and served as deputy chief information officer and chief technology officer at Kent State University. She has also served as assistant vice chancellor and deputy chief information officer at Washington University in St. Louis, where she led the redesign of the IT funding model and oversaw a market equity study for IT staff. Before Washington University, Stedelin served Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for 16 years, with the last seven years as associate vice chancellor and chief information officer.
Stedelin received her master of business administration and bachelor of arts in economics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
