As associate vice president for Infrastructure, Bill Wrobleski oversees the design, delivery, and operation of a wide range of infrastructure services including data centers, networking, telephony, storage, and compute services. He has a long record of successfully delivering large enterprise scale projects in the areas of: cloud computing, collaboration, enterprise resource planning, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, and data center deployment. He has served in similar roles at both the University of Michigan and the University of Hawaii System. Wrobleski has also successfully overseen dozens of large operational improvement efforts, including improvements based on ITIL best practices.
Wrobleski serves as co-chairman of the EDUCAUSE Cloud Computing Constituent Group and vice chairman of the Higher Education Cloud Forum Planning Committee. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s in computer science and economics, and has a master’s in theological studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
